To build 10×10 metal roof gazebos, starting with measure, cut and secure 2×4 sections to the top of the posts. This will provide the frame for the room and keep the posts stable. Second, determine the desired roof slope and cut a notch of a 2×6 at that angle and two inches deep. The length of the slabs should reach the center of the gazebo from the corners of the post and at the desired angle and continue to the length of each desired eaves.
Although it provides a steep angle, it is easy to work at a 45 degree angle. Attach all 2×6 pieces to the posts and to each other at the tip of the ceiling. A block in the center facilitates this process. Third, if you want the eaves on the hardtop gazebo 10×10, attach an additional 2×4 section to the 2×6 sections described in the previous section. Measure, cut and attach 2×4 sections from 2×6 to pieces on the edge.

These pieces should be placed in no less than 24 inches apart and run along the entire length of all roof sides. Last, covers ceiling with desired material. The canvas gives a rustic or modern look, while shingles can give your gazebo kits a traditional feel. If you are using shingles or slabs, measure, cut and mount additional parts of 1×6 to ceiling slats attached to the above steps in this section. Attach plates or shingles to these pieces to make sure they overlap to prevent large-scale leakage.
